Day 3: Guest Services Training

These past two days have been pretty boring but busy. "Guest Services" is a fancy way to say that I learned how to clean and then cleaned for the past two days. Yesterday (Wednesday), I learned how to clean a toilet, sink, shower and floors in Main Chalet and Speaker. Then I cleaned one of each and navigated around the program cellar....whoo! Then for the rest of the afternoon and evening I worked on my biography for the staff page. Check it out: http://www.ourchalet.ch/en/people/Staff

I also made a poster about myself to put up on the bulletin board so that guests can get to know the staff.
The design is a flower. The center is the quote "Be the change you want to see in the world," (Ghandi) and in each petal is a different part of my life: Cosmos and Sprinkles (of course), UMASS, figure skating, GCO, my time in Mexico at Our Cabana...I also added some fake flowers and feathers as decoration haha.

Strangely it snowed yesterday but the snow did not stick to the ground! My picture for the website was taken in the moments that it stopped snowing but it snowed in May!

Our Chalet in the snow!

I am excited because I figured out a way to call home inexpensively and talking to my mom was awesome; I glad she picked up because it was definitely needed <3
